ASSOCiate Online / OurSubject Moodle - for all trainees

What is ASSOCiate Online?

ASSOCiate Online is an online community. It is the fastest growing online community of its type and it provides subject specialist support to teachers and trainee teachers with 5,000 members already registered in the first year of operation. 2009/10 is the third year of operation.

A specially customised Moodle Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) named OurSubject Moodle houses the online community.

How do I gain access to this Oursubject Moodle ?

1   Access your Bath Spa University email

The handout below takes you through the steps involved

Bath Spa email help - 09/10 - added 27/10/09

2  Go to the ASSOCiate Online / Oursubject web site

This is at http://oursubject.hud.ac.uk

  • You will see a login screen. You already have a password set up but it was sent at the start of the year, so you need to request a password reminder.
  • Click on the link which says ‘forgotten your username and password’
  • The next screen asks for your ‘registered email address’. This is the bathspa.org or bathspa.ac.uk address you have accessed using the first attached handout, so the password will be sent there.

You are then ready to access Associate Online

In order to make use of this online community, you need to download various handounts which take you through the features and how to use them.
